By "T", of course I mean tofu! ;)
Whatever you choose to consume today, or whomever you spend the day with (family, furkids, flists, etc.), I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I just got off the phone with Bowie's surgeon, Dr. G, who said that the left knee TPLO surgery went well yesterday. The joint was altered from 30 to 5 degrees.
He did, however, have some not so good news: Bowie's ankles both have osteochondritis. Dr. G. said that the OCD shouldn't bother Bowie too much, and it's a relatively simple procedure (compared to the TPLO) to clean up, should he be bothered by it down the road.
Oy. Poor Bowie!
He said that Bowie can still enjoy a full life, but that if his ankles start swelling, or if he starts limping, that we'll probably know the cause.
Still, he's doing very well in post-op recovery, even crying when he's not getting enough attention (fortunately they've got a huge staff who don't mind taking time to cuddle), and still should be coming home on Friday.
He's going to update me daily, so if anything else changes, I'll let you know!
